Guidelines and templates
Types of paper contribution
A full paper submission is necessary irrespectively of the paper type or presentation form (oral and poster). When submitting a paper, authors can decide whether their paper shall be included in the peer-review process. All accepted peer-reviewed papers will be labelled accordingly and included into the conference proceedings (open access with DOI). Papers that are not accepted by the peer-review process will be included in the website as non-peer-reviewed papers.
Selected publications will be published in special issues in Journal of Applied Geodesy and Applied Geomatics (see below for further information).
Type of presentation
Authors can apply for oral or poster presentations. The final decision will be notified by the Scientific Committee. The type of presentation is not affected by the type of contribution (peer-reviewed or non-peer-reviewed).
Abstract submission
For all kinds of contributions an abstract must be submitted until 15 July 2024. Authors will be notified about acceptance at the beginning of August, 2024.
Paper preparation and submission
A full paper is required for every accepted contribution, either oral or poster. Authors can submit their contribution as a peer-review or non-peer-review paper. For the paper preparation, a LaTeX and a Word template are available. We recommend the use of the LaTeX template whenever possible. Please adhere to the specified format template. Papers submitted with incorrect formatting will be returned to the authors. The full paper length must be between 6 to 8 pages long.
Authors of selected outstanding peer-reviewed manuscripts will have the chance to publish an extended version in Journal of Applied Geodesy or Applied Geomatics. Authors will have to submit their extended versions within 4 months after the Symposium. For these selected papers, only the abstract along with a link to the journal will be included in the proceedings to preserve originality.
The deadline for submitting a peer-reviewed paper is 2 December 2024.
The deadline for submitting your non-peer-reviewed paper is 14 February 2025.
Presentation preparation
All papers must be presented at the conference either as an oral or a poster presentation to be included in the technical program and get published in the conference proceedings.
Further guidelines regarding the presentation will be available at the end of 2024.
